Devotion in Motion, an Embodied Exploration of Hanuman’s Story *

Friday 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM, Saturday 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Tuition: $20 Friday, $54 Saturday, or $65 for both
This workshop explores the living presence of Hanuman, whose strength arises through devotion. Through storytelling from the Ramayana, we reflect on how love and service awaken the courage to leap beyond limitation.
Mythology and storytelling are woven throughout an embodied asana practice, including hip and heart-opening sequences inspired by Hanumanasana, the posture named for Hanuman’s legendary leap. Rather than emphasizing achievement, the posture becomes an exploration of courage, humility, and the awakening of the heart through practice.
Practice includes asana, mantra, contemplative reflection, and concludes with deep rest and sound integration, allowing space for absorption and inner stillness.
