This class offers study of the Sitar and other string instruments in authentic oral tradition, for beginning and intermediate students. Instruction in voice is also included.
Arjun Verma, son of Acharya Roop Verma, shares a unique and concise system of musical training. Students will receive an introduction to the Indian musical system of notes and to simple music-making techniques.
