This program is to commemorate the day the great mystic poet Jalal ad-Din Rumi passed from his body on December 17, 1273. It will be a dramatic presentation of selections from his writings – poetry, stories and sayings – to give a fuller picture of Rumi’s journey within the Sufi (mystic) path. The evening will also incorporate Sufi chanting, which the audience can join in, to allow participants to experience the spiritual ecstasy from which Rumi’s expressions poured out.
Preceded by Ashram Meditation Program beginning at 7:00PM (by donation).
