Twinkle Little Star: Pediatric Health from an Ayurvedic Perspective Part 1 - Sat, Oct 22, 9:30 - 11:30am
In this first webinar of a 2 part series, Vasant Lad, BAM&S, MASc, founder and director of The Ayurvedic Institute, will explore the Ayurvedic approach to pediatric care by beginning with an understanding of all of the factors that impact the development of a fetus in the womb and can define the eventual Prakruti - unique doshic constitution - of our child.
We will explore ancient Ayurvedic texts and how they frame pediatric healthcare as a process that begins early, while the child is still in the womb, not waiting until after the birth of a child, and how certain factors can impact the experience of the pregnancy and ultimate ongoing health of both mother and baby. In this second and final webinar of the series, Vasant Lad, BAM&S, MASc, founder and director of The Ayurvedic Institute, will continue his exploration of the Ayurvedic approach to pediatric care by exploring common early-childhood health issues - along with the therapies intended to correct these imbalances or manage a specific illness.
