Lecture by a long-time teacher of Sanskrit and Indian philosophy on a famous Sanskrit hymn from the original Ramayana epic. The sage Agastya chants the Aditya Hridayam to Rama, reminding him of the properties and qualities of both the physical sun in the solar system and of the inner Sun that is the divine presence. The hymn is intended to assist one in remembering one's own true self at all times.
