Daily Hatha Yoga classes offered by Ananda Ashram staff are taught according to several yogic styles, incorporating important traditional postures (asanas), breathing exercises (pranayama), deep relaxation and meditation. Classes are designed to balance the entire energy system, help to relieve stress, bring strength and flexibility to the body and establish steadiness of mind.

Open - Open to all levels. Depending upon teacher, classes range from basic to intermediate.
Vinyasa Flow - Alignment & core strength building. Back-bends,arm balancing & inversions, Intermediate.
Gentle - Wake up to a slow, deep and grounding practice. Beginners through advanced welcome.
Anusara Inspired - Combines the spirit and expression of the heart with the science of alignment.
Yoga & Sound - A fun, uplifting asana class that concludes with relaxing, live music. All levels.
Pranayoga - Explore the subtle body through the practices of Pranayama & Yoga Nidra. All levels.
Chi Kung - Study with a 7th generation master ~ aligning breath, physical activity & awareness. All levels.

Class Fees
Drop-in: $15 for 90-min class (seniors $10)

Discounted Class Cards:
5 Classes $70 valid for 2 months
10 Classes $130 valid for 4 months
20 Classes $240 valid for 6 months
Unlimited Monthly $100

Yoga and Chi Kung classes are included in Ashram overnight guest rates.

Chi Kung Classes with Sifu Ken Lo, Saturdays 10:30-11:30AM
Chi Kung, also called the Yoga of Bodhidharma, is widely regarded as the source of internal martial arts. The Buddhist sage Bodhidharma established the Shaolin Temple in China in the sixth century. His principles of yoga and pranayama are explained and practiced here in a nurturing and expansive environment of self discovery. Followed by Tai Chi Kung Fu, 11:30-12:30, Tuition $15.
