Suggested Donation $20 An evening of tender reminiscence of beloved friend and great Kirtan singer Ma Chetan Jyoti of Rishikesh, India. The participating artists will share stories of this wonderful Swami's gift of Kirtan and the legacy of her energetic style.
Shivananda Sharma, Ma Chetan's tabla and violin player, is currently running a school in Rishikesh to teach local children classical Hindustani music free of charge, continuing in Ma Chetan Jyoti's footsteps. |
