This intensive residential course is for both intermediate and advanced students who already have a few years experience in North Indian classical Kathak Dance.
Practical sessions include abhinaya (expressional dance), compositions and choreography. Theory sessions are based on the Natya Shastra and will also include history and mythology. Ashram teachers and invited guest instructors will offer additional classes in music, acting, yoga, Sanskrit and more. Upon completion of the course, students will perform in a recital.
