Alisa Rose met her Guru Shri Brahmananda Sarasvati in 1993. This life-transforming event propelled her to dedicate herself to the science and practice of Yoga. She was certified as a Yoga teacher in 1996 at the Vivekananda Yoga Kendra (SVYASA), India, where she also studied Yoga Therapy working in their Ashram hospital. Since that time Alisa has taught and continued her extensive studies. She is Director of Yoga for SRI Center and InnerTuning in the U.S. and Europe and is founder of One Yoga Unites, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing and preserving the teachings of Yoga.
