Eric Phinney

is a percussionist who has performed with classical ensembles around the world, including with The Silk Road Project, Yo Yo Ma at the Smithsonian Institution, and the Ethos Percussion Group at Carnegie Hall and London's Wigmore Hall. He holds a Master's degree in classical percussion performance from Manhattan School of Music, and studied North Indian Tabla under Pandit Sharda Sahai of the Benares Gharana and Pandit Samir Chatterjee of the Farrukhabad Gharana. Eric is a member of Chhandayan, an Indian musical organization based in New Jersey and Calcutta.
