In the scheme of Comparative Religion studies, this interactive workshop will reflect on what it means to be a spiritual friend. Focusing primarily on the words of Jalaal ud-Diin Rumi, the Sufi master, the session will present Islamic teachings regarding friendship. Guidance from other spiritual traditions will also be shared to emphasize common points of wisdom on this topic.
